Falafel Bowl
Crispy golden falafel served over fluffy hummus with fresh vegetables, tahini drizzle, and warm pita bread.

Ingredients
- •2 cans (15 oz each) chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- •1 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- •1/2 cup onion, diced
- •3 cloves garlic, minced
- •1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- •1 teaspoon ground cumin
- •1 teaspoon baking powder
- •Oil for frying vegetable oil
- •2 cups hummus
- •2 cups mixed salad greens
- •1 cup diced tomatoes and cucumbers
- •1/4 cup tahini sauce
Directions
- 1Pulse chickpeas, parsley, onion, garlic, flour, cumin, baking powder, and salt in a food processor until mixture resembles coarse sand.
- 2Form mixture into 12-16 small balls and refrigerate for 15 minutes.
- 3Heat 2 inches of oil in a deep pan to 350°F and fry falafel in batches for 3-4 minutes until golden brown, then drain on paper towels.
- 4Spread 1/2 cup hummus into the bottom of each serving bowl.
- 5Top hummus with mixed greens and fresh vegetables.
- 6Arrange 3-4 warm falafel on top of each bowl.
- 7Drizzle with tahini sauce and serve with warm pita bread.
