Fish Tacos

Ingredients
- •1 pound white fish fillets (cod or mahi-mahi)
- •1 cup all-purpose flour
- •1 cup beer
- •3 cups shredded cabbage
- •1/2 cup mayonnaise
- •2 limes
- •8 corn or flour tortillas
- •2 cloves garlic, minced
- •1/2 teaspoon salt
- •1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- •oil for frying
Directions
- 1Mix flour, beer, salt, and cayenne pepper in a bowl until smooth to create batter.
- 2Heat oil in a deep skillet or fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- 3Pat fish dry and cut into strips, then dip in batter and fry 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown.
- 4Combine mayonnaise, minced garlic, and juice from 1 lime in a small bowl for crema sauce.
- 5Toss shredded cabbage with juice from remaining lime and a pinch of salt.
- 6Warm tortillas in a dry skillet for 30 seconds per side.
- 7Assemble tacos by placing fish on tortillas, topping with cabbage slaw and drizzling with crema sauce.
