French Onion Dip

- •4 large yellow onions, thinly sliced

- •1 cup mayonnaise

- •1 tablespoon fresh thyme
- •2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
Directions
- 1Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat and add sliced onions with salt and pepper, stirring occasionally until deeply caramelized, about 25 minutes.
- 2Transfer caramelized onions to a bowl and let cool slightly, then stir in sour cream, mayonnaise, minced garlic, and fresh thyme.
- 3Fold in the grated Gruyère cheese until well combined.
