Ingredients
- •2 cups apple, Gala, cored and roughly chopped
- •1/2 cup elderflower cordial
- •2 tbsp lime juice, freshly squeezed
- •1/4 cup mint leaves, fresh
- •2 cups ice cubes
- •1 cup prosecco or sparkling white grape juice, chilled
- •1 tbsp maple syrup
Directions
- 1Roughly chop Gala apples and place in blender with ice cubes.
- 2Add elderflower cordial, lime juice, maple syrup, and mint leaves.
- 3Blend on high until completely smooth and slushy, about 30 seconds.
- 4Taste and add more maple syrup if needed for sweetness.
- 5Pour slushy mixture evenly into four glasses, filling two-thirds full.
- 6Top each glass gently with chilled prosecco or sparkling grape juice.
- 7Stir once lightly to combine without losing too much fizz.
- 8Garnish each glass with a fresh mint sprig and serve immediately.
💡 For kids, swap prosecco entirely for sparkling white grape juice — still delicious and Hugo-inspired.
