Ingredients
- •1.5 lbs Shrimp
- •5 cloves Garlic
- •1 medium Onion
- •2 tbsp Olive oil
- •3 tbsp Butter
- •1 tsp Salt
- •1/2 tsp Pepper
Directions
- 1Peel and devein shrimp, pat dry, and season with salt and pepper.
- 2Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- 3Sauté diced onion for 3 minutes until softened and translucent.
- 4Add minced garlic and the butter, and cook for 1 minute until the butter foams and smells fragrant.
- 5Add shrimp in a single layer and cook 2 minutes per side.
- 6Serve hot straight from the pan.
💡 Shrimp sauté should be pulled from the pan before garlic butter is fully reduced, then returned briefly; holding shrimp through the reduction makes them rubbery.
