Garlic Knots

Soft, chewy knots of pizza dough brushed with aromatic garlic butter and fresh parsley.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

Directions

  1. 1Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Divide pizza dough into 12 equal pieces and roll each into a 6-inch rope.
  2. 2Tie each rope into a knot shape, tucking the ends underneath. Place on a greased baking sheet.
  3. 3Melt butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add minced garlic, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. 4Stir in fresh parsley and remove from heat.
  5. 5Brush the garlic mixture generously over each knot and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
  6. 6Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
  7. 7Cool for 2 minutes and serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping if desired.
