General Tso's Chicken
Crispy fried chicken coated in a sweet, tangy, and slightly spicy sauce with a perfect balance of flavors.

Ingredients
- •1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cubed
- •1/2 cup cornstarch
- •1/4 cup soy sauce
- •1/4 cup rice vinegar
- •1/4 cup sugar
- •3 cloves garlic, minced
- •1 tbsp ginger, minced
- •1-2 tsp red pepper flakes
- •2 tbsp vegetable oil
- •1/4 cup chicken broth
- •2 tbsp cornstarch mixed with water
- •2 green onions, chopped
Directions
- 1Toss chicken cubes with 1/2 cup cornstarch until well coated.
- 2Heat oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat and fry chicken until golden and cooked through, about 8-10 minutes. Remove and set aside.
- 3In the same pan, add garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes, stirring for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- 4Pour in soy sauce, rice vinegar, sugar, and chicken broth. Bring to a simmer.
- 5Stir in the cornstarch slurry and cook until sauce thickens, about 2 minutes.
- 6Return chicken to the pan, toss to coat evenly with sauce, and cook for 2 more minutes.
- 7Garnish with green onions and serve over rice.
