Ghanaian Shito-Spiced Roasted Plantain

Ingredients
- •4 ripe plantains, peeled and sliced
- •1 tbsp vegetable oil
- •3 tbsp shito sauce
- •1 tbsp fresh lime juice
Directions
- 1Heat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- 2Toss the plantain slices with vegetable oil.
- 3Roast for 12 minutes, turning once.
- 4Brush lightly with shito sauce.
- 5Roast 4–5 minutes more until caramelized.
- 6Finish with lime juice and serve hot.
💡 Add shito near the end so its dried fish and spices do not scorch before the plantain browns.
