- •1 1/2 cups granulated sugar

- •1 cup whole milk
- •1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- •2 cups powdered sugar
Directions
- 1Preheat oven to 350°F. Mix graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and 1/4 cup sugar, then press firmly into a 9-inch round cake pan.
- 2In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
- 3Cream together 1/2 cup softened butter and 1 1/2 cups sugar until light and fluffy, then beat in eggs one at a time.
- 4Alternately add flour mixture and milk to the butter mixture, beginning and ending with flour, then stir in vanilla extract.
- 5Pour batter over graham cracker crust and bake for 25-30 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- 6Cool cake completely, then frost with buttercream made by beating 1/2 cup softened butter with powdered sugar and a splash of milk until smooth and spreadable.
