Ingredients

  • 600 g boneless skinless chicken breasts, sliced into strips
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 lemon, juiced and zested
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • to taste salt and black pepper
  • 4 large pita breads
  • 1/2 cup store-bought tzatziki
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/2 English cucumber, diced
  • 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1/4 cup kalamata olives, pitted and sliced
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Directions

  1. 1Whisk olive oil, lemon juice and zest, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper; toss with chicken strips and marinate 15 minutes.
  2. 2Cook chicken strips in a hot skillet over medium-high heat 3–4 minutes per side until golden and cooked through; set aside.
  3. 3Combine cherry tomatoes, cucumber, red onion, olives, feta, and parsley in a bowl.
  4. 4Warm pitas in a skillet or oven until soft.
  5. 5Spread tzatziki generously across each pita.
  6. 6Top with chicken strips, then the Greek salad mixture.
  7. 7Fold and wrap tightly; serve immediately.

💡 Store-bought tzatziki is available in the deli section of all major Canadian grocery stores. For best flavour, let the chicken marinate overnight in the fridge.
