Green Power Smoothie
A vibrant, nutrient-packed smoothie that tastes like a tropical vacation while sneaking in a generous handful of greens. Creamy, sweet, and refreshing — even picky kids won't know the spinach is in there.
⏱ 5 minServes 2American
Ingredients
- •2 cups fresh baby spinach
- •1 cup frozen mango chunks
- •1/2 cup frozen pineapple chunks
- •1 medium ripe banana, sliced and frozen
- •1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
- •1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or regular milk)
- •1 tbsp honey
- •1/2 tsp fresh ginger, grated (optional)
Directions
- 1Add almond milk and Greek yogurt to the blender first so the blades can move freely.
- 2Add the baby spinach on top of the liquid.
- 3Add the frozen mango, pineapple, and banana.
- 4Add honey and grated ginger if using.
- 5Blend on high for 60 seconds until completely smooth and no green flecks remain.
- 6Taste and add more honey if desired, then blend for 5 more seconds.
- 7Pour into two glasses and serve immediately.
💡 Adding liquid first prevents the blender from jamming. For a vegan version, use coconut yogurt instead of Greek yogurt and maple syrup instead of honey. Frozen fruit is key — it eliminates the need for ice and keeps the smoothie thick and cold.
