Grilled Fish with Za'atar

Perfectly grilled white fish infused with the tangy, herbaceous flavors of za'atar spice blend and finished with a drizzle of olive oil.

Ingredients

  • 4 fillets white fish (sea bass, halibut, or cod)
  • 3 tablespoons za'atar spice mix
  • 4 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 lemons
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

Directions

  1. 1Pat fish fillets dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.
  2. 2Mix za'atar with minced garlic and 2 tablespoons of olive oil to create a paste.
  3. 3Rub the za'atar mixture evenly over both sides of each fish fillet.
  4. 4Preheat grill to medium-high heat and lightly oil the grates.
  5. 5Grill fish for 4-5 minutes per side until cooked through and lightly charred.
  6. 6Transfer to a serving plate and drizzle with remaining olive oil and fresh lemon juice.
  7. 7Garnish with fresh parsley and lemon wedges, then serve immediately.
