Grilled Steak Salad
Tender sliced steak served over crisp mixed greens with vegetables and a tangy balsamic vinaigrette.

Ingredients
- •1 lb ribeye or sirloin steak
- •6 cups mixed salad greens
- •1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- •1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
- •1 cup cucumber, sliced
- •1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- •3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- •3 tablespoons olive oil
- •1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- •to taste salt and black pepper
Directions
- 1Season steak generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
- 2Heat a skillet or grill to high heat and cook steak 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare. Rest for 5 minutes, then slice into strips.
- 3Whisk together balsamic vinegar, olive oil, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper to make dressing.
- 4Toss mixed greens with half the dressing and divide between two plates.
- 5Top each salad with tomatoes, onion, cucumber, and cheese.
- 6Arrange steak slices on top and drizzle with remaining dressing. Serve immediately.
