Grilled White Fish with Chermoula

Delicate white fish fillets infused with vibrant herb and spice chermoula sauce, grilled until perfectly flaky and aromatic.

Ingredients

  • 4 white fish fillets (sea bass, halibut, or cod), 6 oz each
  • 1 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1/2 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • to taste salt and black pepper

Directions

  1. 1Combine cilantro, parsley, garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, cumin, paprika, and cayenne pepper in a bowl to make the chermoula sauce.
  2. 2Reserve half of the chermoula sauce for serving, and brush the remaining sauce generously over both sides of the fish fillets.
  3. 3Preheat grill to medium-high heat and lightly oil the grates.
  4. 4Place fish fillets on the grill and cook for 4-5 minutes per side, until flesh is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
  5. 5Transfer grilled fish to a serving plate and drizzle with reserved chermoula sauce.
  6. 6Serve immediately with lemon wedges and your choice of sides such as rice or roasted vegetables.
