Hawaiian Ham and Pineapple Skillet

- •1.5 pounds ham steak, cubed
- •1 can (20 oz) pineapple chunks in juice
- •1/4 cup brown sugar
- •2 tablespoons soy sauce
- •1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- •1 teaspoon cornstarch
- •1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- •1 red bell pepper, diced
- •2 cups cooked rice
Directions
- 1Melt butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat and brown the ham cubes for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- 2In a small bowl, whisk together brown sugar, soy sauce, vinegar, cornstarch, and ginger until smooth.
- 3Drain pineapple juice into the skillet, reserving the chunks, and stir in the sauce mixture.
