Ingredients

  • 4 pork chops (1 inch thick)
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons water

Directions

  1. 1Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and season pork chops with black pepper.
  2. 2Sear pork chops for 5-6 minutes per side until golden brown, then remove and set aside.
  3. 3In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic and ginger for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. 4Add honey, soy sauce, and rice vinegar to the pan, stirring well to combine.
  5. 5Mix cornstarch with water and stir into the sauce to thicken it slightly.
  6. 6Return pork chops to the skillet and simmer for 3-4 minutes, turning to coat with the honey garlic glaze.
  7. 7Serve pork chops hot with the glaze spooned over top.
