- •1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

- 1Cut jalapeños in half lengthwise and carefully remove seeds and membranes using a small spoon or knife.

- 4Beat the egg in a shallow bowl, then mix panko breadcrumbs with garlic powder, salt, and pepper in another bowl.
- 5Dip each stuffed jalapeño into the beaten egg, then coat thoroughly with the seasoned breadcrumbs.
- 6Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and fry the poppers for 3-4 minutes until golden brown and crispy, working in batches.
