Lamb Doner Kebab

Ingredients
- •2 lbs ground lamb
- •2 tbsp paprika
- •1 tbsp cumin
- •1 tbsp garlic powder
- •1 tbsp onion powder
- •1 tsp black pepper
- •1 tsp salt
- •3 tbsp olive oil
- •1 cup plain yogurt
- •2 cloves garlic, minced
- •4 pita breads
- •2 cups tomatoes and cucumbers, sliced
Directions
- 1Mix ground lamb with paprika, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt in a bowl.
- 2Knead the mixture for 5-7 minutes until sticky and paste-like, then refrigerate for 1 hour.
- 3Shape the mixture around a vertical skewer or form into a loaf shape on a baking sheet, drizzle with olive oil.
- 4Roast at 400°F for 45-50 minutes until the exterior is browned and crispy, turning halfway through.
- 5While meat cooks, combine yogurt with minced garlic and salt to make sauce.
- 6Warm pita breads in a dry pan or over an open flame for 30 seconds per side.
- 7Slice the cooked lamb thinly and serve in warm pita with fresh vegetables, yogurt sauce, and additional toppings.
