Ingredients
- •225g all-purpose flour
- •100g ground almonds
- •150g unsalted butter, softened
- •100g granulated sugar
- •1 egg yolk
- •1 tsp ground cinnamon
- •½ tsp ground cloves
- •300g raspberry jam
- •1 tbsp powdered sugar
Directions
- 1Cream together softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy, then mix in egg yolk, cinnamon, and cloves.
- 2Combine flour and ground almonds in a separate bowl, then fold into the butter mixture until a dough forms.
- 3Press two-thirds of the dough into a 9-inch tart pan, spread raspberry jam evenly over the base.
- 4Roll out remaining dough and cut into strips, then arrange in a lattice pattern over the jam.
- 5Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 35-40 minutes until the crust is golden brown.
- 6Cool completely in the pan, then dust with powdered sugar before serving.
