Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground pork
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1/4 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1/2 lb napa cabbage, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp ginger, minced
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 2 green onions chopped

Directions

  1. 1Mix ground pork, 1.5 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tbsp oyster sauce, breadcrumbs, and egg; form into 8 large meatballs.
  2. 2Heat sesame oil in a large pot over medium-high heat and brown meatballs on all sides, about 5 minutes; set aside.
  3. 3In the same pot, sauté garlic and ginger for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. 4Add napa cabbage and cook for 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. 5Pour in chicken broth, remaining soy sauce, and remaining oyster sauce; bring to a boil.
  6. 6Return meatballs to pot, reduce heat to medium-low, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes until cooked through.
  7. 7Garnish with green onions and serve hot with steamed rice.
