Meatball Subs
Tender homemade meatballs smothered in marinara sauce and melted cheese on a toasted sub roll.

Ingredients
- •1 lb ground beef
- •1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- •1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- •1 egg
- •3 cloves garlic, minced
- •24 oz marinara sauce
- •4 sub rolls
- •2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- •2 tbsp olive oil
- •1 tsp Italian seasoning
- •to taste salt and pepper
Directions
- 1Mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, egg, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a bowl until combined.
- 2Roll mixture into 12-16 meatballs and heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- 3Brown meatballs on all sides for 8-10 minutes, then add marinara sauce and simmer for 10 minutes.
- 4Preheat oven to 400°F and hollow out sub rolls slightly, then fill with meatballs and sauce.
- 5Top each sub with mozzarella cheese and bake for 5-7 minutes until cheese is melted and rolls are lightly toasted.
- 6Serve immediately while hot.
