Ingredients
- •8 oz dried chow mein noodles
- •1 lb chicken breast, thinly sliced
- •2 cups shredded cabbage
- •1 cup shredded carrots
- •1 cup sliced mushrooms
- •4 cloves garlic, minced
- •3 tablespoons soy sauce
- •2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- •1 tablespoon sesame oil
- •3 tablespoons vegetable oil
- •1 teaspoon sugar
- •2 green onions, sliced
- •1/2 teaspoon white pepper
Directions
- 1Cook chow mein noodles according to package directions, drain and set aside.
- 2Heat 1 tablespoon vegetable oil in a large wok or skillet over high heat, cook chicken until golden, then remove.
- 3Add remaining oil and stir-fry garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- 4Add cabbage, carrots, and mushrooms, stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.
- 5Return chicken to the wok with noodles, pour in soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, sugar, and white pepper.
- 6Toss everything together over high heat for 2-3 minutes until well combined and heated through.
- 7Top with sliced green onions and serve immediately.
