Mu Saengchae (Korean Spicy Radish Salad)
Korean julienned radish tossed with gochugaru, vinegar, garlic, scallion, and sesame.

Ingredients
- •1 1/2 lb daikon radish, julienned
- •1 1/2 tbsp gochugaru
- •2 tbsp rice vinegar
- •1 tsp granulated sugar
- •1 clove garlic, minced
- •2 green onions, sliced
- •1 tsp sesame oil
- •3/4 tsp salt
- •1 tsp sesame seeds
Directions
- 1Toss the julienned daikon with salt and let it stand for 5 minutes.
- 2Drain off any released liquid without squeezing the radish.
- 3Add gochugaru, rice vinegar, sugar, and garlic.
- 4Toss until every strand is evenly seasoned.
- 5Add green onions, sesame oil, and sesame seeds.
- 6Serve immediately or chill for 10 minutes.
💡 Drain rather than squeeze the salted radish so it stays crisp.
