Niçoise-Inspired Seared Tuna with Egg

A light French-inspired plate of seared tuna and soft eggs over egg noodles brings the Riviera to your table.

Ingredients

  • 3 cans Canned tuna
  • 4 large Eggs
  • 8 oz Egg Noodles
  • 2 tbsp cooking oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp pepper

Directions

  1. 1Boil egg noodles in salted water until tender, about 8 minutes, then drain.
  2. 2Soft-boil eggs in simmering water for exactly 7 minutes, then peel and halve.
  3. 3Drain tuna and press into firm patties, seasoning with salt and pepper.
  4. 4Heat oil in skillet over medium-high and sear tuna cakes 3 minutes per side.
  5. 5Toss drained noodles with a drizzle of oil, salt, and pepper.
  6. 6Plate noodles topped with tuna cakes and soft-boiled egg halves.
