Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1 cup raisins

Directions

  1. 1Preheat oven to 350°F. Cream together butter and brown sugar until fluffy, about 2 minutes.
  2. 2Beat in eggs and vanilla extract until well combined.
  3. 3In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt, then fold into the butter mixture.
  4. 4Stir in oats and raisins until evenly distributed.
  5. 5Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
