Olive Bread

Ingredients

- •1/2 teaspoon instant yeast
- •1 1/4 cups warm water
- •1 cup pitted green or black olives, halved
- •2 tablespoons olive oil
- •1 teaspoon dried rosemary
- •1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
Directions
- 1Mix flour, salt, and yeast in a large bowl, then stir in warm water until a shaggy dough forms.
- 2Knead the dough for 8-10 minutes until smooth, then fold in olives, olive oil, rosemary, and oregano.
- 3Place dough in an oiled bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and let rise for 90 minutes until doubled in size.
- 4Shape the dough into a round loaf and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet, then let rise for 30 minutes.
- 5Preheat oven to 450°F and score the top of the loaf with a sharp knife.
- 6Bake for 35-40 minutes until golden brown and the loaf sounds hollow when tapped on the bottom.
