Paneer Naan
Soft, pillowy naan bread stuffed with spiced paneer cheese and fresh herbs, perfect for scooping up curries or enjoying on its own.

Ingredients
- •2 cups all-purpose flour
- •1/2 teaspoon salt
- •1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- •1/4 cup yogurt
- •2 tablespoons oil
- •200 grams paneer, crumbled
- •1 green chili, minced
- •1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- •1/4 teaspoon cumin powder
- •1/4 teaspoon red chili powder
- •2 tablespoons butter, melted
Directions
- 1Mix flour, salt, and baking powder in a bowl. Add yogurt and oil, then knead into a soft dough. Let rest for 20 minutes.
- 2In another bowl, combine crumbled paneer, green chili, cilantro, cumin powder, and red chili powder to make the filling.
- 3Divide dough into 8 equal portions and roll each into a ball.
- 4Flatten one ball into a small circle, place a spoonful of paneer filling in the center, fold edges over to seal, then gently roll into an oval shape.
- 5Heat a cast iron skillet or tawa over medium-high heat until very hot.
- 6Place naan on the hot skillet and cook for 1-2 minutes until bubbles form, then flip and cook the other side for 1-2 minutes until golden brown spots appear.
- 7Brush the cooked naan generously with melted butter and sprinkle with cilantro if desired.
- 8Serve hot with curry, dal, or as a standalone dish.
