Paneer Tikka
Tender cubes of cottage cheese marinated in yogurt and spices, then grilled until golden and smoky.

Ingredients
- •500 grams paneer cheese, cut into 1-inch cubes
- •1 cup plain yogurt
- •2 tablespoons ginger-garlic paste
- •2 tablespoons lemon juice
- •1 tablespoon red chili powder
- •1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- •1 teaspoon cumin powder
- •1/2 teaspoon garam masala
- •2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- •1 large bell pepper, cut into chunks
- •1 large onion, cut into chunks
- •salt to taste salt
Directions
- 1Mix yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, lemon juice, red chili powder, turmeric, cumin, garam masala, oil, and salt in a bowl to make the marinade.
- 2Add paneer cubes to the marinade and coat well. Let it rest for at least 20 minutes, preferably 30 minutes.
- 3Thread marinated paneer, bell pepper, and onion alternately onto skewers.
- 4Heat a grill pan or cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat and lightly oil it.
- 5Place the skewers on the hot pan and cook for 3-4 minutes per side until the paneer is golden and charred marks appear.
- 6Turn the skewers occasionally to ensure even cooking and charring on all sides, approximately 12-15 minutes total.
- 7Remove from heat and serve hot with mint chutney, sliced lemon, and onions on the side.
