Ingredients
- •400g paneer cheese, cubed
- •1 cup plain yogurt
- •2 tablespoons ginger-garlic paste
- •1 teaspoon garam masala
- •1 teaspoon cumin powder
- •1 teaspoon paprika
- •2 tablespoons oil or ghee
- •1 medium onion, finely diced
- •400g canned crushed tomatoes
- •1/2 cup heavy cream
- •1 teaspoon salt
- •2 cloves garlic, minced
Directions
- 1Mix yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, garam masala, cumin powder, paprika, and salt in a bowl. Add paneer cubes and marinate for 15 minutes.
- 2Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add paneer cubes and cook until golden on all sides, about 5 minutes. Remove and set aside.
- 3In the same skillet, add minced garlic and diced onion, sauté until onions are translucent, about 4 minutes.
- 4Add crushed tomatoes and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- 5Stir in heavy cream and garam masala, then gently add the cooked paneer cubes back into the sauce.
- 6Simmer on low heat for 8-10 minutes until the sauce thickens and paneer absorbs the flavors.
- 7Taste and adjust salt and spices as needed. Serve hot with rice or naan bread.
