Ingredients

  • 1 lb pastrami, sliced thin
  • 4 slices rye bread
  • 3 tablespoons spicy brown mustard
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 4 slices dill pickle

Directions

  1. 1Heat beef broth with garlic powder, black pepper, and paprika in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. 2Add pastrami slices and warm through for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally until heated and slightly steamed.
  3. 3Toast rye bread slices in a separate skillet with butter until golden brown on both sides.
  4. 4Spread spicy brown mustard generously on each slice of toasted rye bread.
  5. 5Layer the warm pastrami onto two bread slices and top with pickles.
  6. 6Close sandwiches with remaining bread slices and serve immediately.
