Pav Bhaji

Ingredients
- •3 tablespoons butter
- •1 large onion, finely chopped
- •2 tablespoons ginger-garlic paste
- •2 medium potatoes, boiled and mashed
- •1 cup green peas
- •1 cup cauliflower florets, boiled and mashed
- •1/2 cup carrots, boiled and mashed
- •2 tablespoons pav bhaji masala powder
- •1 tablespoon red chili powder
- •1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- •2 tablespoons tomato sauce
- •4 pav (bread rolls)
- •salt to taste salt
Directions
- 1Heat 2 tablespoons of butter in a large pan over medium heat and sauté the chopped onion until golden brown.
- 2Add ginger-garlic paste and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- 3Add all the mashed vegetables (potatoes, peas, cauliflower, and carrots) and stir well.
- 4Sprinkle pav bhaji masala, red chili powder, and turmeric powder, then mix thoroughly for 2-3 minutes.
- 5Add tomato sauce and salt to taste, continue cooking and stirring for 5-7 minutes until the bhaji becomes creamy and well-combined.
- 6Slice the pav rolls horizontally and toast them on a griddle with remaining butter until golden.
- 7Serve the hot bhaji topped with a knob of butter, sliced onions, and fresh lemon juice alongside the buttered pav.
