Pear Tart

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet thawed puff pastry
  • 4 medium pears, peeled and sliced
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons sliced almonds
  • 1 tablespoon honey

Directions

  1. 1Preheat oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. 2Heat butter and granulated sugar in a large skillet over medium heat, then add pear slices and cook for 8-10 minutes until golden and caramelized, stirring in vanilla and cinnamon.
  3. 3Place puff pastry on the prepared baking sheet and spread caramelized pears evenly over it, leaving a 1-inch border.
  4. 4Sprinkle brown sugar and sliced almonds over the pears.
  5. 5Bake for 18-22 minutes until pastry is golden and puffed.
  6. 6Drizzle with honey immediately after removing from oven and serve warm.
