Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups pecan halves
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Directions

  1. 1Preheat oven to 350°F. Mix 1 cup flour, granulated sugar, and 1/2 cup softened butter until crumbly, then press into a greased 9x13-inch baking pan. Bake for 10 minutes.
  2. 2In a saucepan, melt 1/2 cup butter and stir in brown sugar until combined. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  3. 3Whisk in eggs, 2 tablespoons flour, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth.
  4. 4Fold in pecans and pour the filling over the warm crust.
  5. 5Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and set. Cool completely before cutting into bars.
