Pizza Bagels

Ingredients
- •4 plain or everything bagels
- •0.75 cup pizza sauce or tomato passata
- •1.5 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- •0.5 cup mini pepperoni
- •0.5 green bell pepper, finely diced (optional)
- •0.5 tsp dried oregano
- •0.25 tsp garlic powder
- •a pinch red pepper flakes (optional)
- •a few fresh basil leaves (optional)
Directions
- 1Preheat oven broiler to high and line a baking sheet with foil.
- 2Slice bagels in half and place cut-side up on the baking sheet; broil for 2 minutes until lightly toasted.
- 3Spread 1.5 tbsp of pizza sauce evenly over each bagel half, leaving a small border at the edge.
- 4Sprinkle mozzarella generously over the sauce, then top with pepperoni and diced bell pepper.
- 5Season with dried oregano and garlic powder, then broil for 3–4 minutes until cheese is fully melted and bubbling with lightly browned edges.
- 6Top with fresh basil if using and serve immediately.
