Polish Paszteciki z Mięsem (Meat-Filled Pastry Rolls)

Ingredients
- •4 cups all-purpose flour
- •2 tsp instant yeast
- •1 cup whole milk, warm
- •4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- •1 egg
- •1 1/2 tsp salt
- •1 lb ground beef
- •1 medium yellow onion, diced
- •1/2 tsp black pepper
- •1 egg, beaten for brushing
Directions
- 1Mix flour, yeast, milk, butter, egg, and half the salt into a soft dough.
- 2Knead for 8 minutes, cover, and rise for 60 minutes.
- 3Cook ground beef and onion for 8 minutes and season with remaining salt and black pepper.
- 4Roll the dough into rectangles and spread cooled meat filling along one edge.
- 5Roll into logs, cut into short pieces, and brush with beaten egg.
- 6Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20–25 minutes until golden.
