Ingredients
- •3 lb Yukon Gold potatoes, thinly sliced
- •6 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- •1 1/4 tsp salt
Directions
- 1Heat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- 2Brush a 10-inch ovenproof skillet with melted butter.
- 3Layer potato slices concentrically, brushing lightly with butter and seasoning with salt.
- 4Repeat until all potatoes are used.
- 5Bake for 45–50 minutes until tender and deeply golden at the edges.
- 6Rest 5 minutes, then invert onto a platter and cut into wedges.
💡 Use a mandoline for uniformly thin slices so the layers cook and crisp at the same rate.
