Pork and Shrimp Wontons

Ingredients
- •24 wonton wrappers
- •1/2 lb ground pork
- •1/4 lb shrimp, finely chopped
- •2 tbsp soy sauce
- •1 tbsp sesame oil
- •2 cloves garlic, minced
- •2 tbsp green onion, chopped
- •1 tsp ginger, minced
- •1 tsp cornstarch
- •water for sealing
Directions
- 1Mix pork, shrimp, soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, green onion, ginger, and cornstarch in a bowl.
- 2Place 1 teaspoon of filling in the center of each wonton wrapper.
- 3Wet the edges with water, fold in half diagonally, then bring the two corners together and seal.
- 4Bring a pot of water to boil and gently add wontons, cooking until they float and then 2 minutes more.
- 5Remove with a slotted spoon and serve hot with soy sauce or sweet and sour sauce for dipping.
