Ingredients
- •5 lbs pork shoulder
- •1/4 cup brown sugar
- •2 tablespoons paprika
- •1 tablespoon garlic powder
- •1 tablespoon onion powder
- •1 tablespoon salt
- •1 teaspoon black pepper
- •1 cup barbecue sauce
- •1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
- •8 hamburger buns
Directions
- 1Mix brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.
- 2Rub the spice mixture all over the pork shoulder, coating evenly.
- 3Place the pork in a slow cooker, add apple cider vinegar, and cook on low for 8 hours until the meat is very tender.
- 4Remove the pork and shred it with two forks, discarding any fat or bones.
- 5Return the shredded pork to the slow cooker, stir in barbecue sauce, and heat for 15 minutes.
- 6Serve the pulled pork on toasted buns with additional sauce on the side.
