Seekh Kebab
Spiced minced meat molded onto skewers and grilled until smoky and tender, served with fresh lemon and onions.

Ingredients
- •500 grams ground lamb or beef
- •1 medium onion, finely chopped
- •2 tablespoons fresh ginger-garlic paste
- •2 green chilies, minced
- •1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- •2 tablespoons gram flour
- •1 teaspoon cumin powder
- •1 teaspoon coriander powder
- •1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
- •1/2 teaspoon garam masala
- •1 egg
- •2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- •to taste salt
Directions
- 1Mix ground meat with chopped onion, ginger-garlic paste, green chilies, and cilantro in a large bowl.
- 2Add gram flour, cumin, coriander, red chili powder, garam masala, salt, and egg; mix until well combined.
- 3Divide mixture into equal portions and mold each around flat metal skewers, pressing firmly.
- 4Heat oil in a large skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat until hot.
- 5Place skewers in the pan and cook for 12-15 minutes, turning every 2-3 minutes until all sides are browned and cooked through.
- 6Transfer cooked seekh kebabs to a serving plate and garnish with fresh lemon juice and sliced onions.
- 7Serve hot with mint chutney, sliced onions, and lemon wedges on the side.
