Sesame Chicken

Ingredients
- •1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- •1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- •1/4 cup cornstarch
- •1 teaspoon salt
- •1/2 cup soy sauce
- •1/4 cup rice vinegar
- •3 tablespoons sesame oil
- •2 tablespoons honey
- •3 cloves garlic, minced
- •1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
- •2 tablespoons sesame seeds
- •2 cups vegetable oil for frying
Directions
- 1Mix flour, cornstarch, and salt in a bowl. Coat chicken pieces evenly with the flour mixture.
- 2Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Fry chicken in batches until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes per batch. Drain on paper towels.
- 3In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, honey, garlic, and ginger.
- 4Return chicken to the skillet and pour the sauce over it. Toss to coat evenly and simmer for 2-3 minutes until sauce thickens slightly.
- 5Transfer to a serving dish and garnish with sesame seeds. Serve over steamed rice.
