Ingredients

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/4 cups warm water
  • 1 tsp instant yeast
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1/2 cup sesame seeds
  • 6 eggs
  • 4 green onions, sliced
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil

Directions

  1. 1Mix flour, yeast, half the salt, and warm water into a smooth dough and rest for 30 minutes.
  2. 2Divide into six pieces, roll each thin, brush with sesame oil, and fold into layered rounds.
  3. 3Press sesame seeds onto the tops and bake at 425°F (220°C) for 15 minutes.
  4. 4Beat eggs with green onions and remaining salt.
  5. 5Cook the eggs in vegetable oil as a thin omelette and cut into six portions.
  6. 6Split each hot shaobing and fill with a portion of scallion omelette.
