Shrimp Cocktail

Ingredients
- •1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- •6 cups water
- •1 teaspoon salt
- •2 lemon slices fresh lemon
- •1 cup ketchup
- •3 tablespoons prepared horseradish
- •2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- •1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- •1/2 teaspoon hot sauce
- •for serving ice
Directions
- 1Bring water to a boil in a large pot with salt and lemon slices.
- 2Add shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes until pink and cooked through, then drain and transfer to ice water to chill completely.
- 3Mix ketchup, horseradish, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, and hot sauce in a bowl to make the cocktail sauce.
- 4Arrange crushed ice in cocktail glasses and divide chilled shrimp around the rim of each glass.
- 5Fill a small serving bowl with cocktail sauce and place in the center of the shrimp arrangement.
- 6Serve immediately with small cocktail forks or toothpicks for dipping.
