Shrimp Po'Boy
Crispy fried shrimp piled high on a toasted baguette with tangy remoulade, lettuce, tomato, and pickles.

Ingredients
- •1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- •1 cup all-purpose flour
- •1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- •1 teaspoon paprika
- •1/2 teaspoon salt
- •1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- •2 cups vegetable oil
- •1/2 cup mayonnaise
- •2 tablespoons ketchup
- •1 tablespoon pickle relish
- •2 French baguettes or sub rolls
- •2 cups shredded lettuce, tomato slices, and dill pickle chips
Directions
- 1Mix flour, cayenne, paprika, salt, and black pepper in a shallow bowl.
- 2Heat oil in a large skillet to 350°F (175°C).
- 3Coat shrimp in seasoned flour, shaking off excess, then fry in batches for 2-3 minutes until golden and crispy.
- 4Combine mayonnaise, ketchup, and pickle relish in a small bowl to make remoulade sauce.
- 5Slice baguettes in half lengthwise and toast lightly.
- 6Spread remoulade on toasted baguettes, then layer with lettuce, tomato, pickles, and fried shrimp.
- 7Serve immediately while shrimp is hot and crispy.
