Shrimp Scampi
Succulent shrimp sautéed in garlic, white wine, and butter, served over pasta for a restaurant-quality Italian-American classic.

Ingredients
- •1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- •1 pound spaghetti or linguine
- •6 cloves garlic, minced
- •4 tablespoons butter
- •3 tablespoons olive oil
- •½ cup dry white wine
- •¼ cup fresh lemon juice
- •½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
- •¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
- •to taste salt and black pepper
Directions
- 1Cook pasta according to package directions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
- 2Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat, then add minced garlic and red pepper flakes, cooking for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- 3Add shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and cooked through.
- 4Pour in white wine and lemon juice, bringing to a simmer and cooking for 1-2 minutes to blend flavors.
- 5Toss cooked pasta into the skillet with the shrimp and sauce, stirring gently to combine.
- 6Season with salt and pepper to taste, then transfer to serving plates and garnish with fresh parsley.
