Sloppy Joe Sandwiches

Ingredients

- •1 pound ground beef
- •1 medium onion, diced
- •1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
- •2 tablespoons ketchup
- •1 tablespoon brown sugar
- •1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- •1 teaspoon mustard
- •1 teaspoon salt
- •½ teaspoon black pepper
- •4 hamburger buns
Directions
- 1Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and cook ground beef with diced onion until beef is browned and onion is soft, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
- 2Stir in tomato sauce, ketchup, brown sugar, vinegar, and mustard, mixing well.
- 3Add salt and pepper, then reduce heat to low and simmer for 5-8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until sauce thickens slightly.
- 4Toast hamburger buns lightly if desired, then spoon the Sloppy Joe mixture onto each bun and serve immediately.
