Slow Cooker Pulled Pork Shoulder

Ingredients
- •4-5 pounds pork shoulder
- •3 tablespoons brown sugar
- •2 tablespoons paprika
- •1 tablespoon garlic powder
- •1 tablespoon onion powder
- •2 teaspoons black pepper
- •2 teaspoons salt
- •1 cup barbecue sauce
- •1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
- •1/2 cup chicken broth
Directions
- 1Pat the pork shoulder dry and trim excess fat.
- 2Mix brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt in a small bowl.
- 3Rub the spice mixture generously all over the pork shoulder.
- 4Place pork in slow cooker and add apple cider vinegar and chicken broth.
- 5Cover and cook on low for 8 hours until meat is very tender and shreds easily with a fork.
- 6Remove pork, shred with two forks, and return to slow cooker.
- 7Stir in barbecue sauce and cook on low for 30 more minutes.
- 8Serve on buns or with your favorite sides.
