Som Tam (Green Papaya Salad)

A vibrant, tangy Thai salad with shredded green papaya, peanuts, and a zesty lime-chili dressing that's both refreshing and addictively spicy.

⏱ 15 minServes 2Thai

Ingredients

  • 2 cups shredded green papaya
  • 2 tablespoons roasted peanuts
  • 1/4 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

  • 1 tablespoon palm sugar or brown sugar

Directions

  1. 1In a large mortar and pestle, gently pound the garlic and Thai chili together until fragrant.

  5. 5Transfer to a serving plate and top with crushed roasted peanuts.
