Ingredients
- •1 cup pumpkin puree
- •3 cups all-purpose flour
- •2 tsp baking powder
- •1 tsp salt
- •3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- •4 cups vegetable oil for frying
Directions
- 1Mix pumpkin puree, flour, baking powder, salt, and melted butter into a soft dough.
- 2Rest the dough for 10 minutes.
- 3Roll the dough to 1/4 inch thick and cut into small rounds.
- 4Prick each round once with a fork.
- 5Fry at 350°F (175°C) for 2–3 minutes per side until golden.
- 6Drain on paper towel and serve warm.
