Sourdough Pancakes

Ingredients
- •1 cup active sourdough starter
- •3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- •2 tablespoons sugar
- •1 teaspoon baking powder
- •1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- •1/2 teaspoon salt
- •1 egg
- •1/4 cup milk
- •2 tablespoons melted butter
Directions
- 1In a large bowl, combine sourdough starter, flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- 2In another bowl, whisk together egg, milk, and melted butter.
- 3Fold the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until just combined; the batter should be slightly lumpy.
- 4Heat a griddle or non-stick skillet over medium heat and lightly butter it.
- 5Pour 1/4 cup batter onto the griddle for each pancake and cook for 2-3 minutes until bubbles form on the surface.
- 6Flip and cook the other side for 1-2 minutes until golden brown.
- 7Serve warm with your favorite toppings such as maple syrup, butter, or fresh berries.
