Spaghetti ai Frutti di Mare
A classic Italian pasta dish loaded with fresh seafood, garlic, and white wine in a light tomato broth.

Ingredients
- •1 lb spaghetti
- •1 lb mixed seafood (clams, mussels, shrimp)
- •1 can (14 oz) crushed tomatoes
- •4 cloves garlic, minced
- •1/2 cup dry white wine
- •3 tablespoons olive oil
- •1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- •1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- •to taste salt and black pepper
- •2 tablespoons butter
Directions
- 1Bring a large pot of salted water to boil and cook spaghetti according to package directions until al dente.
- 2Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat, add garlic and red pepper flakes, sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- 3Add white wine and let it reduce by half, about 2 minutes.
- 4Stir in crushed tomatoes and simmer for 5 minutes.
- 5Add the seafood to the sauce and cook for 5-7 minutes until clams and mussels open and shrimp turn pink; discard any unopened shellfish.
- 6Drain pasta and add to the seafood sauce, tossing to combine.
- 7Stir in butter and fresh parsley, season with salt and pepper to taste, and serve immediately.
